What MillingGuide.com Is
MillingGuide.com publishes buying guides and side-by-side comparisons for chainsaw mill attachments and portable sawmills, covering brands like Granberg, VEVOR, Zozen, Wood-Mizer, Woodland Mills, BILT HARD, and MechMaxx, along with the more basic questions that come before buying: chainsaw mill versus bandsaw mill, renting versus buying, and what a mill costs to run.
How We Cover Products
Guides on this site are built around real Amazon listings, real specs, and real reviews rather than manufacturer marketing copy. Where a product is sold through dealer or auction channels instead of Amazon, we say so rather than guessing at pricing or availability.
Who Writes This
Site content is written and maintained by Dale Kessler.
MillingGuide.com doesn't claim hands-on testing of the mills and attachments covered here. Every guide is built from manufacturer specifications, real retailer and dealer listings, and documented owner reviews, cross-checked against each other rather than taken from a single source. Where owner reports and manufacturer claims disagree, the guide says so rather than quietly siding with the manufacturer.
This site gets revisited over time to catch discontinued products, changed specs, and anything a closer read of the owner complaints turns up that the marketing copy didn't mention.
